• Asharqia Chamber is preparing to organize the sixth edition of the Job Fair 2018 in October

    Asharqia Chamber will organize the sixth edition of Jobs Fair 2018 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, during the period (22-25 / Oct / 2018) in cooperation with Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (Dhahran Expo). It would be held on Dhahran Expo.

     

    The exhibition is witnessing a significant number of companies and institutions that are willing to participate in the most important event in the field of employment in the region.

    The sixth edition of the exhibition received with interest by companies, institutions and government and civil authorities that are concerned with the development of human resources, which began to reserve their places in the exhibition in preparation for participation.

     

    The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, valued the care and attention accorded to the events of Asharqia Chamber by the prince of the Eastern Region, which confirms the keenness of His Highness in supporting all that would help in developing human competencies and achieve their participation in the development and comprehensive development that is witnessed by the country in all areas, especially in the economic field.

     

    AlKhalidi said that this edition of the exhibition aims to support efforts to settle jobs in the private sector, and to highlight the role of the business sector in attracting national talent, providing job opportunities for Saudi youth, and achieving communication between the business sector on the one hand, and training and employment services providers and specialists in human resource management and employment on the other hand, and between these agencies and third-party job seekers.

    He pointed out that this exhibition is an important channel for job seekers that open the way for national talent, which is looking for job opportunities that highlight their energy, spread creativity, achieve their personal aspirations, and support the unlimited development option.

    He stressed that the human element is the basis in this country, regardless of his job location and place of work.

    The 2017 Jobs Fair, which was organized by the Chamber last year, recorded a visit to more than 20 thousand applicants for work, amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.

    The number of participants in the exhibition was about 138 companies as institutions provided more than 7 thousand jobs.

    The participated agencies include the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Technical and Vocational Training Cooperation, the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF), and the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage (CNTA).​
